Experienced business and Not-for-Profit people with a broad spectrum of skills and knowledge. Our mentors come from many career backgrounds. Many are entrepreneurs who have formed small businesses and Not-for-Profits. They have served as managers and executives in medium and large organizations. Specific services our consultants provide are in the areas of strategic planning, operations management, staff evaluation, board development, volunteer management, financial systems, marketing, fund development, governance policy formulation and coalition-building.
Our mentors meet with businesses and Not-for-Profit leaders who want to improve their business or charity’s operations or are interested in starting a new organization. We serve our clients in face-to-face mentoring sessions, over the internet, or in seminars and workshops. All of our services are offered at no cost to our clients. The normal office hours are Nine AM to Noon Monday through Friday, and we also schedule meetings at other hours to accommodate our client’s availability. There is also a SCORE branch in Truth or Consequences.
Workshops for governance and operation management are regularly scheduled in partnership with the United Way, at the Branigan Library, Mountain View Hospital, and other locations throughout the community. We are open to partnering with your organization board and staff to design tailored training, consulting, and workshops on all levels, based on needs assessment and marketing research. Our face-to-face mentoring has provided personal coaching to board executive committee members as well as professional staff.
